I’ve never done it myself but I’ve read that they like about 6 weeks to simulate a real winter. Good luck!

indoor forced crocus spring bulbs 2/18/10

well i bought these crocus plants last year and they were sprouting then bloomed.so when the flowers died off i put the bulbs in the fridge.all spring bulbs need to be stored in the fridge when done blooming.then when you are ready to plant them in the ground or indoor force which i have done they will be chilled.so hopefully this experiment will work out for me.several years ago i had daffodil bulbs blooming in a bag in the front hall were its very cold and has no heat.so i indoor forced them and came up with dozens of beautiful daffodils! it was like i bought bunches of them in pots!
